Net metering is a solar incentive that allows to store energy in the electric grid. When solar panels produce more electricity than need, that energy is sent to the grid in exchange for credits. Then, at night or other times when solar panels are under producing, we pull energy from the grid and use these credits to offset the costs of that energy.

With the right size solar energy system, can produce enough electricity to match home’s electricity use for the entire year. However, the amount of electricity solar panels produce will vary throughout the year. Net metering helps you account for these differences by crediting you for the excess electricity your panels produce so you can use it later.

The solar panel generated DC power converted to AC power through a grid tie inverter, The inverter generates three phase 220 volts AC powers and synchronizes with the grid power. First daily load is consumed solar generated power through the calculated power meter. When there is no demand for daily loads, then Solar generated electricity goes to the national grid via a Bidirectional meter, Bidirectional meter  Calculates how many electricity enters to the grid. Here daily load not consume equivalent power of solar generation power from the grid and excess power contribute to our national power grid.

On the off-grid part  – Off grid charge controller charge battery from the electricity and store for emergency backup and off grid inverter activated on load shading or absence of grid electricity.
